About Shane

A little about myself. . . A true Ohio native, I grew up in Columbus and attended Bexley High School. My mother lived in Hawaii, so I spent a lot of time on the islands as well. Being from the Midwest, I cultivated an appreciation for strong family values and a tireless work ethic have served me well in my over 24 years working in real estate. I earned my bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Southern California (USC) in '92. I took a job working for my families' casinos in Central City and Black Hawk Colorado immediately after completing my degree. I was in charge of developing the group sales program at the casinos. I learned a lot about customer service and being a great listener. After my stint in Colorado, I got married and moved back home to Ohio where I was the President of a large hospitality catering company that worked mainly with the PGA Tour. We provided food and beverage for large corporate client tents as well as feeding the patrons in the on-course concessions tents. We were responsible for feeding between 50,000 - 400,000 people a week depending on the weather and the specific PGA tournament. In 2000, I moved back to California and got my real estate license and joined Coldwell Banker in the Beverly Hills South office. I spent the next 18 years in Brentwood CA raising my son Quinn, selling real estate, and was involved with an 18,000 sq. ft. restaurant at Universal Studios City Walk. (Saddle Ranch Chop House) In 2018, after my son went off to college in Dallas (SMU), I decided to move South to Newport Beach. I spent 5 years in Newport Beach selling high end luxury real estate. Right before the pandemic I met a wonderful lady (Corey) that had just moved to Newport Beach with her two teenage daughters. During the COVID lockdown we discussed moving to Florida for many different alluring reasons. Well. . . in August of 2022 we made the move and here we are!
