About Scott

Born in rural Pennsylvania, Scott then spent 40 years in Pittsburgh, where he built a successful career in the retail industry. With 38 years of experience, Scott started as a buyer for a major department store chain and later transitioned to Lucky Brand, where he managed national accounts. His career taught him the importance of building lasting relationships, mastering negotiation, and upholding values of honesty and credibility. During the Covid pandemic, Scott and his husband Steve, both working remotely, took a spontaneous three-week trip to Sarasota in the fall of 2021 that changed everything. The couple fell in love with the city's endless sunshine, stunning beaches, top-tier restaurants, vibrant arts scene, and welcoming community. They decided to make Sarasota their home. Embracing a long-held interest in real estate, Scott made a bold career change. He and his husband fully renovated their first Sarasota home, selling it for a record price, and then purchased their dream home—a newly constructed property. Scott’s outgoing personality, positive energy, and attention to detail make him the ideal guide for anyone looking to find their dream home. He has a keen eye for design and the potential to transform spaces, whether it's a turnkey property or a project home. When he's not helping clients, Scott enjoys staying active with Orangetheory, biking, landscaping, walking their dog Mika, and exploring Sarasota's diverse dining scene.
