About Merryl

I am deeply passionate about helping people-it's not just what I do, it's who I am. Originally from New York, I left after high school to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Arizona. I later earned a Master's degree in Physiology with a concentration in Aging from the University of Illinois. For 17 years, I had the privilege of developing health and wellness programs for seniors in both Chicago and Sarasota, a role that allowed me to blend compassion with science to improve lives. In 2007, I transitioned into Sales and Marketing, where I have continued to build strong, lasting relationships while serving both residential and commercial markets. My approach is rooted in clear communication, meticulous attention to detail, and a sincere commitment to honesty and integrity. I've always been an active member of the community. As an animal enthusiast, I was instrumental in helping launch one of Sarasota's largest animal shelters and have remained deeply involved over the years. I also proudly serve on committees at Temple Emanu-El and find tremendous meaning in being a mentor and "Big" with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Family is at the heart of everything I do. I'm incredibly proud of my son, who earned his MBA from Florida State University, and I cherish the deep connections I have with my loved ones. A true believer in the importance of balance, I'm a lifelong fitness enthusiast, and yoga has become a guiding force in my life-especially during life's more chaotic moments. It has taught me the power of mindfulness, grounding me in the present and helping me stay centered both personally and professionally.
