About Kate

Kate’s lifelong love of real estate has led her to become a compassionate, knowledgeable and savvy real estate professional. Her wide-ranging expertise in all areas, from interior staging to real estate investment strategy, ensures that she provides unsurpassed customer care. Since beginning her real estate career 16 years ago, Kate and her two partners have built a successful team guiding buyers and sellers in the Chicago market. She is thrilled to expand her business in Southwest Florida as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Downtown Sarasota. A native of New York, Kate attended Boston University and previously worked in the telecom industry. Today, she applies hard-earned project management skills to her real estate practice, taking customers through the process of buying and selling with extra attention to timing and detail. In addition to her deep general knowledge, Kate particularly excels in scouting for investment opportunities tailored to the needs of experienced investors. As a certified Accredited Buyer's Representative and Seller Representative Specialist, she strides to develop lifelong relationships, displaying a deep dedication to helping her customers achieve their property goals. Over the past few years, Kate has purchased multi- and single-family investment properties in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood and in Sarasota. She's taken an active role in renovating, leasing, and managing these properties to offer the most attentive care to her tenants. In her personal time, Kate devotes herself to raising her son, Jack, spending time with family and friends, and contributing as vice president of her homeowner’s association board. Most recently, she and her husband, Dennis, purchased a home in Sarasota and opened a cooking school, Young Chefs Academy, in the summer of 2023.
