The Southgate specialist leverages her background in real estate and property investments to balance specialized market knowledge with a passion for taking care of customers. Originally from Louisville, KY, Daina is known for investing 100% of herself into the task at hand. In the 1990s, she first felt the call of real estate when she purchased a vacant 60,000 sq. ft. shopping center and brought life and vitality back into the development. She also spent fifteen years investing in properties and selling them, understanding firsthand the stresses associated with bringing a property to market and the process for closing a deal with integrity and efficiency. Her abilities in design and remodeling were also integral and she offers sellers an experienced eye in matters of staging and showing a home. Daina moved to Sarasota in 2004 and owned a retail store for the last 14 years in high-end furniture consignment. Caring for others is a cornerstone of Daina's family life. She has found great satisfaction in channeling that drive into taking care of her buyers' and sellers' needs. She has seven children, six grandchildren, and a wonderful mother and father. Her husband and the love of her life, Joe, is an ultra-runner and she often enjoys traveling with him to races.
