About Laura

I was born and raised in California's San Francisco Bay Area. The rich cultural and intellectual scene and the diverse California setting inspired in me a love for aesthetics and design, particularly architecture, landscape, and home interiors. After attending UC Santa Barbara, I moved to Louisiana to be near extended family. While in New Orleans, I worked in the service industry, primarily in fine dining restaurants. I found guiding and encouraging people to be exciting. I first came to Santa Fe in 2011, visiting my sister who had just moved here. I immediately fell in love with the city and all the outdoor activities it has to offer (along with the food, art, and kind people to boot!) I could never wait for my next visit! When I made the permanent move to Santa Fe, practicing real estate seemed like a natural way to combine my love for helping others with my artistic interests in home and design. I have always risen naturally into leadership roles, and continue to do so in this profession. In my time practicing real estate, I have accomplished a great deal. Among other things, I have become a multi-million dollar producer, won SFAR's Rookie of the Year award, served as President of the Women's Council of Realtors, taught classes through SFAR's Technology committee, worked as office manager and helped organize a training program for new brokers at our Coldwell Banker office, and started a property management company focusing on short term rentals, A Vacation Different. I am passionate about everything that I do. Whatever the project may be, I like to throw my whole self into it. I am loyal and thorough and like to make sure that things get done well and with a positive attitude. I also like to find creative, sometimes unconventional solutions to problems. I enjoy looking at things in a different way, which can be just the fresh perspective needed to find your perfect home or sell your current one.
