About Melissa

Hello, my name is Melissa Rulli, I moved to western North Carolina from New Jersey 29 years ago. Since moving here, I have become an entrepreneur in various areas. I successfully owned and operated a restaurant, The Pampered Palate, in Hendersonville. I sold the business to become an at-home mother of two and to run our family-owned roofing company. I later decided to follow my strengths in sales and marketing and my passion for working with people, and I became a licensed NC real estate agent. I worked for Coldwell Banker in Arden. To survive the downturn in the real estate market in 2008, I utilized my license as a residential property manager. I successfully managed a portfolio of 130 owners and their residences. In this position, I realized that the absentee owner needs even more support and assistance in order to have peace of mind since their vacant homes are left vulnerable. I learned that Western North Carolina is the ninth most popular area in the country for second homeowners, all of whom need support. Hence Eye On Your Home was born. I have owned and operated this company now for 13 years. During that time I supported all owners, buyers, sellers, and vacation rental investors in many capacities except the actual purchase or sale. The evolution of all these skill sets has led me back to Coldwell Banker to now be a full-stop support for any owner. I am thrilled to be a part of a fantastic company with over 103 years of experience, marketing, and brand recognition. I have 2 grown children Jake 23 and Samantha 21. My husband-to-be Alex and I are extremely active. We love to travel, Mt biking, and hike, and are newly addicted pickleball players. We have a home of 4 legged animals that love to be in the great outdoors with us. My friends nicknamed me “Julie the Cruise Director” as a child because I love coordinating services and events as well as working with people and having FUN!
