Greetings! I’m Camille Yates, a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Advantage based in Western North Carolina. With 20+ years of experience in real estate, marketing, and business development, I bring a strategic, highly personalized approach to helping people navigate one of their most important financial and lifestyle decisions. Having called the area “home” for 40+ years, I have a deep connection to Western North Carolina and the landscape that draws so many people to the region. I live on four wooded- acres in Pisgah Forest, surrounded by native vegetation, two creeks, and a spring-fed pond, with Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Recreational Forest nearby. My firsthand understanding of mountain living allows me to help clients look beyond the walls of a home and consider the land, setting, community, access to outdoor recreation, and lifestyle a property provides. I have a Master of Science in conservation ecology and natural resource management and have developed and implemented best practices for managing ecosystems across the Southeast U.S. That background gives me a unique perspective when evaluating mountain homes, acreage, residential land, natural features, native vegetation, streams, privacy, views, and the relationship between a property and its surrounding environment. I give to my clients: honesty, responsiveness, strong communication skills, and commitment to ethical representation. I hold multiple professional real estate designations, including Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Resort & Second Home Property Specialist (RSHPS), and e-PRO®. My hobbies include hiking, birding, mountain biking and fishing. I also grow orchids and enjoy landscaping with native plants to provide habitat for birds and other wildlife.
