About John

I have been practicing real estate in Asheville and the surrounding counties for 44 years and am still active on a daily basis. I started my career as a classroom teacher and moved rapidly in to be a school administrator and eventually a school board member for eight years once in real estate. I have taught continuing education classes since 1994 for real estate license renewal and enjoy helping fellow agents and competitors. I served as a hospital board member and chairman for 25 years with CarePartners and CarePartners Foundation. I have been active in the Realtor organization as President of the state and local associations. I served on the national association board of directors for 15 years. I have been placed in the state association's Hall of Fame for my many years of service. I love to help people! and take great pride in helping my members and clients buy the right home, land or investment. I always strive to get my buyers the lowest price at the best terms and my sellers the highest price at the best terms. I enjoy my work and look forward to everyday working with my members and clients as though they were family!
