Having deep roots in Danville and Central Kentucky, George Coomer, a proud fifth generation Danvillian, has returned to Danville after having worked in the Telecom industry for the past 20 years. A graduate of Danville High School, he attended the University of Kentucky. George is a US Army Veteran, he holds a Professional Project Manager Certification, and is a Certified Home Inspector. He served as a city commissioner, Mayor pro tem, Chairman of the Board of Zoning, President of the Lions Club, and as an Officer in the Masonic Lodge in Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
