I am a wife, a mother, a Realtor, an enthusiast of my kids sports, a lover of outdoor home spaces, a late blooming exercise enthusiast, a lover of good cuisine & I adore cooking for my family. My love of food extends to all kinds and usually translates to Jeff & I trying to recreate our favorites in the kitchen ourselves. I love to read, create cozy and stylish home spaces & reinvent my garden areas around our home. I'm not drawn to television but the one show I particularly love is "This Is Us". I gravitate towards change and growth and am currently on the cusp of the empty nest stage as three of our four children are in college.My journey to real estate began as a child & daughter to a homebuilder. Our home was often interrupted with real estate jargon, agents bringing offers to our home and phone calls about real estate during meals. In high school I assisted a local appraiser & followed her everywhere learning yet another side of real estate I hadn't seen. In college at The University of Illinois I majored in Consumer Economics and furthered my knowledge of yet a different side of real estate I hadn't been exposed to. Ultimately though, family has always been the driving force for me and fits perfectly with home ownership & how I see my (our) role in helping families buy and sell their homes.Early in my career I earned the coveted "Rookie of the Year" award & was quickly rising to the top in our industry. Within two years of that time Jeff & I had our first child and were expecting our second son soon after and we made the decision for me to stay home as our family grew. Through those years of raising our children, now 22, 21, 19 and 17 we bought two new homes, one was custom and our third was an older home with character that we completely remodeled. We learned a lot about homes and how your needs change as your family grows. We carry that into our guidance and counsel with our clients. We also believe and know from experience the dream of home ownership and "home" as the most sought after worthy pursuit. In short, buying and selling homes is an exciting journey and even when done smoothly can be stressful. There are many moving parts and this is where Jeff and I step in to work on your behalf.
