Born and raised on the island of Maui, in historic Lahaina, Joel is no stranger to the small town feel and the fast-paced city life. Joel graduated from Lahainaluna High School and moved on to Arizona State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Family and Human Development, and Master of Education in Higher Education. At ASU, Joel was heavily involved with the campus community. His involvement on campus afforded him the opportunity to develop leadership, organization and management skills. In 2015, Joel returned home to Hawaii to be closer to his family and has called Honolulu home for the last several years. He has worked for the University of Hawaii system, Hawaiian Airlines, and serves as the Co-President of the Hawaii Chapter of the ASU Alumni Association. Joel strives for continuous growth and excellence in everything he does. He maintains high standards for himself in his personal life and business.
