About Martin

Martin M. Ohan is a full-time Kailua-Kona resident and loves the Hawaii lifestyle. Marty's current Hawaii background as a Real Estate Broker and past Certified Residential Appraiser started in 1991. Marty has been involved in subdivision sales for both new home construction and vacant land projects in West Hawaii. Marty's past experience involves a working knowledge concerning re-zoning, conditional use permits, General Plan Documents, Main Street Revitalization, property tax appeals, property management, and commercial leasing as a California Real Estate Broker for 28 years in San Jose, CA. Marty's past community activities include participation in civic groups, festivals, parades, a 10K race Director, Past Homeowners President, and public relations involvement. Prior to graduation from San Jose State University with a BA degree in Social Science followed by a Masters Program in Urban and Regional Planning. Marty worked for the YMCA, the City of Los Altos, CA., and as a Recreation Teen Director for the city of Sunnyvale CA.
