About Cory

Cory Takata grew up in Waipahu and currently resides in East Honolulu. Born and raised here on Oahu, Cory 's parents, friends, and community instilled in him the importance of hard work, dedication, and creating life-long relationships. Cory attended Roosevelt High School and continued his education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Social Science. Cory's previous experience include being named Partner in 2022 at a large locally-owned firm and became one of the youngest to make Partner in the company. In 2025, Cory decided to join Coldwell Banker Island Properties which he believes has a leadership team that genuinely cares about their employees, the agents and most importantly, their clients. By aligning with the #1 brand in real estate, Cory's clients will have unprecedented access to an international network that spans from the islands across the globe. Coldwell Banker Island Properties has lead Hawaii in terms of sales volume for 2024 and continues to lead the way in the industry with it's services that include property management, vacation rental management, financing and a foundation that gives back to the community. Beyond real estate, Cory is an active community leader, serving as a Board Member for Abilities Unlimited, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities.
