Shannon Abbe and Frank Baum's Dorothy Gale have a lot in common. They both know that "There's no place like home". Shannon, the newest member of the Abbe • Ross team real estate team was born and raised in Sarasota. She attended Riverview High School, where she was a scholar-athlete. As well as being an active member of the National Honor Society she lettered in track and field, and basketball. During her childhood and teen years, Shannon reveled in the consistent good weather the Gulf Coast has to offer, enjoying a wide range of outdoor activities, including spending time at the area's world-class beaches. Graduating from Riverview in just 3 years, Shannon attended the University of South Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Spreading her wings, she lived in Tampa where she cut her teeth in sales and customer service at a medical device firm. Shannon had a short but successful career there before her heart was called back to the place she knows and loves most… Sarasota. Joining her father, Steve Abbe, lead agent of Abbe • Ross was a natural transition. Shannon has spent a lifetime around the industry.
