About Joanna

Joanna Clary Bonfanti is a seventh-generation Floridian and Destin native with deep roots in the Emerald Coast community. Growing up in Destin, she has witnessed its transformation from a small fishing village into one of Florida’s most sought-after coastal destinations. Her lifelong connection to Northwest Florida gives her clients valuable insight into the communities, neighborhoods, and lifestyle that make the Emerald Coast such a special place to call home. Before entering real estate, Joanna spent more than 15 years in government affairs, representing clients before the Florida Legislature and state agencies. That experience sharpened the communication, negotiation, research, and relationship-building skills she brings to every real estate transaction. Joanna returned home to Destin in 2018 and earned her Florida real estate license in 2020. Today, she helps buyers and sellers throughout Destin, Miramar Beach, 30A, and surrounding Emerald Coast communities. She is also a member of the marketing team at DAG Architects, giving her a unique perspective on the growth, development, and design styles shaping Northwest Florida. Whether buying or selling a primary residence or beach retreat, or investing in coastal property, Joanna combines local knowledge, professional experience, and a personalized approach to help clients achieve their real estate goals. Outside of work, Joanna enjoys life on the Emerald Coast with her two daughters, Lucy and Caroline, and their dogs, Winnie and Remy.
