About Melissa

Melissa Terranova has been investing and managing personal and private real estate portfolios with her husband, Bert, for approximately 20 years. They overseen a mix of residential and commercial multi-unit properties while also running Airbnb’s, VRBOs and venturing into short-term rentals. Melissa is originally from Southbury, Connecticut and grew up in Florida. She has an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design and a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education. Melissa has always enjoyed meeting clients and working with them to ensure they feel comfortable in their decision to buy, sell or rent a property. Melissa relocated to Connecticut with her family, from Virginia. Amid the challenges and opportunities of the 2020 market, she recognized the perfect opportunity to become licensed and continue their real estate ventures in the Northeast. The Terranova family fell in love with their new hometown stating, “The small town feel and wonderful sense of community made moving to Trumbull an easy decision.
