The town of Weston, Massachusetts is a picturesque residential community situated just 12 miles west of Boston. The town provides convenient access to shopping, sightseeing, dining and entertainment, yet remains a bedroom community to Boston in a rural/suburban setting, The town covers an area of 1734 Sq. Miles. Approximately 1,600 acres of which are owned by the town and set aside for recreation and conservation use. In fact, more than 60 miles of Weston are maintained for hiking, horseback riding, golfing ( public and private), cross country skiing and other forms of recreation. Commuters going to Boston benefit from easy access to major roads as well as easy access to the MBTA commuter rail system to both North and South stations in Boston. Weston Schools are ranked among the top schools in the commonwealth year after year. The schools are centrally located, with the elementary school in the center of town and the secondary school located just south of rte. 30. Weston holds an open town meetings in which all registered voters may attend and vote on town affairs. The housing options in Weston vary widely offering a delightful range of options.
