About Belinda

Belinda Appleyard brings a rare combination of deep local knowledge, professional marketing expertise, and firsthand real estate investing experience to her clients at Coldwell Banker Realty. A San Diego resident since 1986 and a UCSD graduate, Belinda has spent close to 40 years building a career at the intersection of business, marketing, and community leadership. She has worked in senior marketing roles across tech, consumer products, and manufacturing — disciplines that directly inform how she positions and promotes properties for sellers, and how she identifies and evaluates opportunity for buyers and investors. Belinda began investing in real estate in 2011, purchasing, rehabbing, and managing residential and multi-family properties throughout California and Oregon. She brings that owner's perspective to every client relationship, whether working with first-time buyers beginning their home ownership process, move-up families seeking more space, or seasoned investors looking to grow their portfolios. A civic leader as well as a businesswoman, Belinda served six years on the Mission Hills Town Council — including terms as both Secretary and President — and served on the board for the San Diego Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation for over a decade. Her relationships with City of San Diego leadership and her experience navigating complex municipal processes are assets that set her apart in transactions involving permits, zoning, or development considerations.
