About Gordy

Personal Background Gordy is a life-long resident of San Carlos – in fact, his family moved here in 1924, and the Burton family has been here ever since. His father and grandfather were both Mayors, and long-time civic volunteers. Gordy and Ann, his wife of over 30 years, continue in that tradition of community involvement. Gordy has enjoyed many years of community involvement, including coaching many youth sports and serving on the Burton Park Youth Center Leadership Committee. He is a past member of the San Carlos Park & Rec Commission, Quality of Life Committee, local Boy Scout volunteer coordinator, and was a long-time member of the American Cancer Society’s local Relay for Life committee. Currently he is on the Board of Directors for The Museum of San Carlos History. Business Philosophy Gordy started his real estate career with the San Carlos office of Cashin Company in 2003. In 2010 he brought his experience to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, where his attention to detail and follow through are appreciated by his clients. He serves his clients with the same level of integrity and commitment as he serves the community. When Gordy isn’t working or volunteering, you can find him playing tennis or being "walked" around town by Van Dyke, the family yellow lab.
