Whether buying for the first time, transitioning to a larger home, downsizing, transferring to a new city (to Sacramento or out of Sacramento), the Woolfords would be honored to help you with the sale and/or purchase of your home. Communities I Serve The Woolfords grew up and currently reside in the East Sacramento neighborhood, so they are very familiar with the older, established areas of Sacramento, like East Sac, Midtown, Downtown, Land Park, Curtis Park, Sierra Oaks, and Arden Park. However, having been in the real estate business since 1978, The Woolfords often serve communities all over the Greater Sacramento area, including, but not limited to, Natomas, Carmichael, Greenhaven, Fair Oaks, El Dorado Hills, Roseville, Rocklin, Gold River, Antelope, and Lincoln. Personal Background Libby grew up and currently resides in East Sacramento with her husband John and two children, Charles and Francesca. She went to Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles from 1998-2002 where she earned a BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Urban Studies, knowing that real estate was inevitably in her future, and a K-8 elementary teaching credential. Libby taught 6th grade in Los Angeles for two years and when she moved back to Sacramento, she taught 3rd grade at PS7 charter school for two years. In 2006, Libby decided it was time to transition into real estate. She worked alongside her parents for several months to make sure that Real Estate was something that she wanted to transition into permanently. In the Fall of that year, Libby acquired her license and she, Nan, and Bill formed the Woolford Group. They have worked cohesively with buyers and sellers ever since. Libby enjoys real estate because of the lasting relationships she's able to build with her clients in helping them make some of the biggest decisions in their lifetimes. Each day brings new challenges and requires the ability to multi-task, organize, communicate, and listen. Community Involvement Libby is President of the Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome Foundation, Co-Chair of the Sutter Lawn Tsunamis Swim Team, former Governor appointed council member on the California Interagency Coordinating Council on Early Intervention, former Coldwell Banker Community Foundation board member, and co-chairperson of the 2016 Annual Coldwell Banker Golf Tournament Supporting our Community: Caleb Greenwood Elementary School, David Lubin Elementary School, Mustard Seed School, Phoebe Hearst Elementary School, Sacred Heart Parish School, Friends of the Sacramento Metropolitan Art Commission, Loaves and Fishes, Sacramento Children’s Home, Sacramento Food Bank,, Tubman House, Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome Foundation, and Sacramento youth sports teams
