Education and Training Denise graduated with a B.A from Scripps College in Political Science/Public Law and has a Masters in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from California State University Dominguez Hills. She is also trained as a dialogue facilitator, conflict resolution instructor and mediator. Community Involvement Denise was actively involved in the parents' associations at Clairbourn School and La Salle High School while her children were in school. She was also a member of the Pasadena Chapter of the National Charity League and a CASA (court appointed special advocate for children in the dependency court). Denise has also taught conflict resolution and peer mediation in Pasadena schools. Personal Background Denise Hammett Bieker is a native of Southern California, who grew up and currently lives in the San Gabriel Valley. She raised her three children here and has been an active volunteer in the community.
