About Don

Don Schmidt has been a 50+ year resident of San Diego. He values the knowledge acquired from working in both the title and mortgage industries. Having the “Big Picture” before and during a real estate transaction has benefitted Don’s clients, whether they are buyers or sellers. He prides himself on maintaining a steady hand for the client during the entire real estate process to insure the smoothest close possible, along with any needed post-close follow up. Whether working with a first-time homebuyer or with someone who has experienced several transactions, Don’s passion for helping clients realize their goals and dreams provides him with the greatest professional and personal satisfaction. Since moving to La Jolla in 1995, Don has volunteered on a number of boards and committees that have kept him fully engaged with the community. When he’s not working or volunteering, he’s usually enjoying a myriad of physical activities including hiking, skiing, ice skating and walking his mixed-terrier, Flynn.
