Hi, I'm Doug, I chose Real Estate as a career mainly because I like to work with people. Working with people allows me to use my gifts of communication, patience, and tenacity and leadership skills.. I have a saying about being a Realtor@. "My main purposes are that of a transaction processor and emotional coordinator!" It's true, every transaction has its story and it may not always be easy. I strive to smooth out the rough edges and see that everything progresses to a successful close I joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 2015 after moving to the Village of Oak Creek from Colorado with my wife Dawn. We picked the Verde Valley for many of the reasons you've picked it. It's not too big, not too small. The outdoor activities are endless, as well as the educational and spiritual opportunities. Working with people does not end when I hang up my hat for the day. I am an active volunteer with "Verde Valley Caregivers, as well as an award winning speaker with Toastmasters International. But my real passion is working with two organizations whose mission is to create better communities. The first is "Boys To Men of Northern Arizona. We are a group mentoring organization that helps boys become the men they want to be. Recently I was awarded mentor of the Year for 2018. This is an honor I'm very proud of. The other organization is called "The Mankind Project" We work with all men over 18 to create better lives by digging deep into the difficulties they face. Our motto is, "Creating A Better Word, One Man At A time. I am proud to be a community organizer and leader for both of these fine organizations. My motivation to succeed and energetic work ethic has allowed me to be successful in numerous fields, including professional chef, professional salesperson as well as a strong leader in my community.
