About Denise

I have been in the Real Estate industry since 1982. I came to Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty with over 25 years' experience as a Mortgage Banker and I obtained my Realtors license in February 2014. I'm very familiar with the various aspects of a Real Estate transaction, including inspections, appraisals, financing, title work and the closing process. I was an approved Underwriter for over 10 years. I also previously oversaw new construction loans while I worked for a bank. These experiences benefit my clients; whether it be buying or selling a home.My favorite motto is, “Home is Where You Make It.” I have traveled and lived all over the world. My first move out of Texas was to Pusan, South Korea. After another short stint back in Corpus Christi, Texas, we moved to Monterey, CA, then Hamburg, Germany and then Newport, RI. Even while adopting our son, Nikolai, we traveled to Russia twice.I have been married to my husband, Curt, for 19 years and he's a retired Naval Commander. We have 2 children, Abby and Nikolai. We also have a wonderful son-in-law, Garrett. My son attends Bush Middle School and my daughter, who lives and works in Portland, OR; is working to become a CPA.I give back to my community through the Kiwanis Club, where I'm currently the President. I'm the President and volunteer as an Advisor for the Capital High School Key Club. I'm also on the board of the South Sound Senior Services. In my spare time I like to hang out with my family, read, and watch movies.
