If you wonder if Julia Towne is organized… she manages her life with two tablets. One personal and one private. This level of organization is essential for the busy realtor. Julia has been a high-producer in every field she has been in for close to 30 years. \"I love getting things done, moving the needle, setting goals, and meeting them!\" Coldwell Banker has been Julia's home since 2014, but the path that brought her there is varied and storied. In 1995 Julia started in property management and has loved the Real Estate world ever since. This includes a foray into working with the Housing Authority helping people get into homes and living situations they can afford. Later, she moved onto Development Services of America where she was a property manager. Then when she took some time off to have a child, Julia started a house cleaning business that flourished. Eventually, the call back into property management and sales started calling again, and she got relicensed in Real Estate Sales. Her love of sailing led her to Port Townsend and Coldwell Banker, where she is now. \"For me, the combination of beauty, outdoor activities like sailing and hiking, and the slower pace of life is just perfect. I am a hard driver at work, so the slower lifestyle is great for my downtimes.\" When asked why she loves the Real Estate world, Julia replies: \"I just love getting the right person in the right home! Whether it's selling homes now, renting them at the beginning of my career or when I was helping economically disadvantaged people get secure housing throughout my life. I also love homes… it doesn't matter if they are perfect homes now, or sadder homes that need a little love; I love watching how people turn houses into homes.\" When asked if there are any guiding thoughts to her helping clients get into a home or selling their home, she quickly chimes in with: \"There is no crystal ball! Or if there is, it is frequently a quite cloudy ball. You do all the preparation you can, you set some priorities, but you be willing to be flexible where you can.\" \"My clients always tell me they are glad that I over-communicate and shoot straight with them. It does no one any good to avoid realities even if they are difficult.\" Julia feels she works well with a diverse group of people from her eclectic background. \"I have cleaned homes, worked customer service for the airlines, been a professional photographer, sat on boards helping the homeless, actually helped homeless people get into apartments…and of course sold Real Estate. So there is a good chance I've interacted with every type of person!\" Julia would love to help you buy or sell your next home because she is just as passionate about your next home as you probably are.
