I fell in love with Whidbey Island at first glance. Having lived in Arizona, Central California, and Northern Nevada, I knew the moment I saw Whidbey Island it was a very special place. In 2005 I packed up everything I owned and bought a small farm in Coupeville within Ebey's Reserve, where I still live, now with two cats, twelve chickens, and a mule. This is one of the best moves of my life. I have no doubt that once you have been here you will agree! Name your hobby...you'll probably find it locally. If not, Seattle is just a short drive and a ferry ride away -- of course you can drive there, too, over the beautiful Deception Pass Bridge and past the La Connor tulip fields with wild migrating swans and snow geese majestically grazing in the newly plowed fields. We have fishing, boating, kayaking, sailboat races and hydro races, lots of farms with fresh produce for sale at our farmers' markets, equestrian events, art shows and galleries, kite contests, walking/hiking in our many State and Local Parks, swimming and diving, various festivals throughout the year, museums with the history of our colorful past, ... but what we don't have here is traffic jams. Three cars and a tractor is about as bad as it gets! Yes, you'll fall in love with Whidbey Island, too! I have an extensive and successful background in and knowledge of all aspects of land title work. During the 20 years of working for title companies in CA, I have specialized in vacant land, residential homes and all types of subdivisions; and have the ability to work well with developers, state and local government agencies, attorneys, and the Department of Real Estate. I have always chosen to live in rural communities close to large urban cities. Although I enjoy the amenities offered by Seattle, I find that I can fully enjoy them while living on beautiful Whidbey Island surrounded by good neighbors, fresh farm produce, spectacular scenery, and no traffic jams. Having spent most of my life within the business community I have a wealth of knowledge and strong sense of efficiency and organization that I bring to my real estate business. My background in real estate spans well over 25 years starting at Los Arcos Realty in Scottsdale, then when I moved to Santa Cruz, CA, I joined Ticor Title where I was a Title Officer and Subdivision Officer. I have also worked for Founder's Title Co. and First American Title Co. while in CA. I have extensive experience in all aspects of real estate from assisting first-time home buyers to shepherding large subdividers through the mazes of local, county and state bureaucracies.
