About Mark

Born in California and spending most of my childhood in Montana, I joined the Coast Guard right after high school and began a period of world travel. Thanks to the military, I've been to the North and South Poles and lived in Coos Bay, Oregon working on the surf boats, before making Seattle my home. Having relocated more than a few times, I know it's not always easy to find a new home or community. When you work with me, you know that I understand, firsthand, the real estate road you're traveling. Before becoming a broker, I was in the boating industry - first, as a skilled boat builder and craftsman, and later, in sales. The experience taught me a lot about not only asking the right questions, but even more important, listening to the answers. It's just one of the many customer-oriented skills, developed over 18 plus years of service, that I bring to my role as a real estate broker. Outside of work, I enjoy the water and fishing, cars and motorcycling, dancing and exploring the Pacific Northwest. I also love working on my home and have tons of tips to share!
