About Jeff

Born and raised in Southern California, I grew up with a strong connection to the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hiking, skiing and playing in the mountains, desert and ocean. In 1979, I moved to Vermont to ski for a season in Stowe. I arrived that summer to settle in and prepare for the upcoming winter when something I never expected happened...summertime in Vermont! I’m not saying I didn’t know that Vermont had a summer season; I just had no idea how spectacular it would be! The lushest green forests backed by the bluest of blue skies that I had ever seen – this was the place for me. The following summer, I met my wife on Cape Cod. In 1986, I began my real estate career in Stowe and “the rest is history.” For me, Vermont has been the best place to live and raise my family. I continue to enjoy my connection with the outdoors, regularly spending time mountain biking, backcountry skiing, kayaking and gardening. Throughout the years, I have remained active in our community. As a board member of the Lamoille Restorative Center, I have the privilege of supporting a local organization promoting restorative justice practices in our community. My commitment to area youth has included serving as school board chairperson, volunteering for over 20 years as a ski instructor for the After School Elementary Ski Program, coaching on various local youth sports teams and being a founding member of the Lamoille Union High School Booster’s Club. I am also a proud supporter of the Stowe Land Trust, The Nature Conservancy in Vermont and the Green Mountain Club. Receiving the Lamoille Area Board of REALTORS® 2012 Good Neighbor of the Year award for my work as the mentoring program’s coordinator at Hyde Park Elementary School is among my most cherished recognitions. I have also been honored twice as the Lamoille Area REALTOR® of the Year and have served as president of the Lamoille Area Board of REALTORS®. I am an annual recipient of the Coldwell Banker® International President’s Circle, Diamond and Sterling Society sales achievement awards. As a licensed broker with Coldwell Banker Carlson Real Estate, I welcome the opportunity to assist buyers and sellers with all their housing needs. I am good at what I do, and I think it shows. I enjoy the challenge of facilitating real estate transactions and helping buyers and sellers find common ground so that everyone comes out a winner.
