Serving as the Director of Sales for the Hillside at O’Brien Farm neighborhood in South Burlington, Jacob takes pride in working directly with the leadership and design teams at O’Brien Brothers to assist buyers in constructing their custom-built homes in a comfortable, equitable and transparent building process. Growing up in and around a family insurance business that has operated in his hometown in Massachusetts since 1840, he learned that maintaining and growing a business takes a tremendous work ethic, ability to handle difficult situations and a commitment to always learn and improve. Most significantly, he learned how to be a strong and steady partner for customers and clients while they conduct some of the biggest transactions of their lives. Since 2015, Jacob has also been an integral member of the Northwest Vermont Board of Realtors, going above & beyond to help his industry and colleagues continue to grow and thrive. After previously serving as the Board’s Treasurer, he has now advanced to the title of President-Elect where he utilizes his strong leadership skills to collaborate with others to set high standards for professional practice and advocating for private property rights. When he’s not working, Jacob loves to spend time in the mountains and on the water enjoying all Vermont has to offer. He enjoys showing off the beauty and cultural activity of the thriving Burlington area to clients considering relocating to our region. A skier and adventurer, he appreciates that travel is the reward for hard work and outstanding service to clients. Jacob lives in Burlington’s New North End with his wife, Stephanie.
