About Hillary

Hillary Boardman has worked in residential development, commercial sales, and leases for over two decades. In addition to her extensive experience in the industry, she and her husband, Doug, have renovated, invested in, and built numerous properties over the years to enjoy as property owners and landlords. As a clear communicator and creative thinker, Hillary thrives in transaction and project management. Her style is to unify parties towards a common goal, earning her the respect of her peers in the industry and referrals from past clients. As a seventh-generation Vermonter, her extensive network, market knowledge, and depth of experience in real estate are an instant value to the home buyers and sellers she works with. In 2019, she joined her husband, Doug, to form a real estate team specializing in residential developments, home sales, and purchases. Doug and Hillary have been the exclusive marketing team for the Outer Bay at Marble Island lakefront development since its inception. Hillary also oversees the Design Review Committee for homes and landscaping at Outer Bay. Most recently, they re-developed Farmhouse Commons in South Burlington, converting 26 rentals to desirable Townhomes for purchase. Doug continues identifying opportunities for much-needed housing developments, while Hillary remains focused on guiding buyers and sellers to their next property. The couple grew up in Burlington and has been inspired by their deep family roots in the local community, business, and real estate development. Hillary graduated from Burlington High School and Hamilton College, and Doug graduated from Rice Memorial High School before receiving a degree in economics from St Lawrence University.
