When not working, she loves to garden, hike trails and battlefields, scour thrift shops and antique stores for quirky and unusual finds, and write poetry and short stories. She also enjoys listening to 80’s music (or as her seventeen-year-old calls it- “old people music”), sing karaoke with her three daughters, dance when no one is watching, and party like it’s 1999 (but go to bed by 10).
