Long Bridge Cottage, Tangier Island: Set apart from Main St, down a little lane is this 1015 sq' home. Now is the first time this home has been offered after several generations of the same family occupying and building all the memories of friends, family, and island life. I had to catch the return boat at 3 pm to Onancock, even though would have preferred to listen to all the stories, Tangier folks readily share. The majority of living is on the 1st floor, sitting room, eat-in kitchen, master bedroom, full bath, and two enclosed porches. The bridge that reaches the airport road and navigable waters is less than a block. The expertise of Captain Crockett, on the Onancock ferry is rather impressive, giving way to an enjoyable voyage.
