About John

My name is John Baer. I am married to my wife Kathy. We have two great boys that have blessed us with five wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling and playing golf. I grew up in Annandale and have spent my entire life in Virginia. I attended Falls Church High School and later graduated from Ferrum College. I have been associated with the Locust Grove area since my parents moved here in 1987. We moved here to care for my father in 2006 and have been here ever since. My professional career has mostly been in and around the museum and millwork industries as well as real estate. I have had the good fortune to have worked on some very namely projects, Smithsonian’s Air & Space Museum in Dulles, African American Museum, American History Museum and United States Marine Corp Museum. Kathy and I started our real estate adventure back in 2004. We are very excited to be joining the Coldwell Banker Elite team, where we will be working together once again.
