That's been my life for over 30 years. Now it's what I do in real estate. I'm Brian Blevins, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Elite in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Before this chapter, I spent three decades as an engineer leading teams, supervising support services, and solving high-stakes operational problems that supported military personnel in active combat environments. I know what it means to get things right when the stakes are high. One of the most valuable things that background gave me is the ability to take complex, intimidating topics and explain them in plain language. Real estate has a lot of moving parts — contracts, timelines, financing, inspections, negotiations. My job is to make sure you understand every step clearly, so you can make decisions with confidence, not confusion. That mindset now serves one purpose: helping families in the Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, and King George market make confident, informed real estate decisions. Multi-generational housing is personal for me. I own a multi-generational home. When your family is figuring out how to make one property work for aging parents, adult children, or extended relatives, I'm not working from a textbook. I've worked through the real questions firsthand — zoning, privacy, layout, and long-term resale value. I understand because I've lived it. My commitment to military families runs deeper than a designation. I spent years building systems that supported troops in some of the most demanding environments imaginable. Helping military families navigate PCS moves in the Quantico corridor or Dahlgren isn't just a niche. It's an extension of a commitment I've carried for decades. That’s why I recently completed my Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification. Outside of real estate, I'm an active member of Spotswood Baptist Church, where I've led connect groups for middle and high schoolers for five years, sung in the choir and praise team since 2000, and supported local disaster recovery efforts. Serving this community isn't a side note. It's the whole point. I also train my German Shorthaired Pointers in AKC agility.
