About Barbara

Barb, originally from upstate New York, has called Alexandria, Virginia home for over 30 years. With deep roots in the community and extensive local knowledge, she is widely regarded by clients as a trusted resource, steady guide, and genuine partner throughout the home buying and selling process with expert knowledge of the area! Known for her personable nature, outgoing personality, and commitment to going above and beyond, Barb takes pride in making her clients feel confident and supported every step of the way. She believes that real estate is about more than transactions—it’s about helping people find a place where they truly feel at home. “I love where I live and want my clients to feel just as happy in their new home and community. My goal is to be a supporter, advisor, and educator throughout the process—helping clients make informed decisions and feel empowered along the way. I always follow through and am very detail oriented. I consistently make myself available for my clients whenever they need support or have questions.” Barb’s early life included traveling the world as part of a military family before graduating from Cazenovia College. She went on to work for a New Jersey Congressman and later with the Veterans Affairs Committee, experiences that shaped her strong sense of service and dedication to others. A committed member of her community, Barb volunteers with a local convent, driving sisters to medical appointments, and supports At Home Alexandria by assisting seniors with daily needs. She is also passionate about animal welfare, regularly hosting rescue events and volunteering with various animal rescue organizations. Barb lives in Alexandria with her husband and their three rescue dogs. She is a proud parent of two college-aged children. Her approach is simple: take the stress off her clients’ shoulders and make the buying or selling process as smooth, informed, and positive as possible.
