About Laura

Laura brings a passion and unique perspective to her business. Being born into a military family, she had moved ten times by the age of 14! “I never had a typical “childhood home”; home was wherever our family was together!” Laura, her husband Steve, and their 3 children moved to Waco in 1991. She was fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom until their youngest entered first grade. Her love for animals led to a part-time job at PetSmart and volunteer work with North Texas Basset Hound Rescue. After a few years, she re-entered the teaching profession; first as a substitute teacher, then as a full-time teacher at Midway High School. Laura retired from teaching 3 years ago to start a business with her husband investing in and rehabbing (flipping) houses. This path led to her new career in real estate.
