You would be hard pressed to find a better small hunting property for the price. From the moment you step onto the land, you're greeted by a mature, cathedral-like forest, where the canopy towers above and the understory is blanketed with native ferns, vines, wild grasses, and flowering plants. Roughly 75% of the timber here is hardwood, a rare composition in East Texas. White oaks, red oaks, walnut, ash, sycamore, magnolias, and even cypress thrive here in true old-growth form. At the rear of the property, the forest opens up to Tebo Creek, a true standout feature. This isn't your typical East Texas creek, Tebo is a massive 20 to 30 foot wide channel with real depth and steady flow. With so much hardwood forage, water, and browse, this tract is absolutely loaded with game. Whitetail, hogs, and small game are regular visitors, and the tracks, rubs, and trails make that clear within minutes of walking it. No restrictions
