We have a water meter!!!The secluded lot is on a peaceful, private, unpaved, road within a few minutes’ walk to the beach but far enough away from highway 87 to be quiet. Bordering the lot is a small canal which feeds into the Intracoastal Canal and is navigable by shallow watercraft like kayaks. A new, very nice public boat launch is about 3 to 4 miles away near Rollover Pass in Gilchrist. From the ramp you have access to the Intracoastal, East Galveston Bay and the Anahuac National Refuge or just fish or catch crabs with the kids in your canal. The location offers convenience in a kind of privacy and peace and a natural setting that is becoming more difficult to find.
