About Reid

Reid Nelson is a native Galvestonian who earned his undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, TX and his law degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. After successful careers in law and insurance, Reid returned to Galveston in 2017 to get back to his roots. Reid knows the island and its people inside and out. His clients will benefit not only from his legal and insurance expertise, but also from his true love of this town. Outside of the office, Reid loves to drive down the Seawall to check on the water, coach his son's basketball teams, and catch a few Ball High football games. Reid currently resides with his son in Galveston, in a historic home that has been in his family for over 45 years.
