I will listen and respond so you can expect calls to be returned promptly and your needs and concerns to be addressed quickly. I am detail-oriented, thorough, and will communicate with other stakeholders involved in your transaction to ensure deadlines are met so we stay on track to close as scheduled. Having worked in the service industry all my life as a retired teacher/librarian, I am skilled at research. You might be surprised to learn that research is a tremendous part of my job as a real estate agent. I am eager to serve you and patiently guide you so that you feel respected, heard, informed, and ultimately delighted at the end of the transaction. In my spare time I love to travel, read, garden, and visit national and state parks in my Casita travel trailer, named Rosie. I am a member of St. Stephen Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth and have served as a deacon, worked with our Room in the Inn homeless program, and participated in our hand bell choir. I am a member of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, which I highly recommend, and the Fort Worth chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America. I am hard of hearing/deaf and have one cochlear implant, which has changed my life so that I am able to hear again, and will soon have surgery for another. I volunteer at Cook Children's Hospital as a Baby Book Worm Reader and visit patients 2 years old and younger to read with them and talk with parents about the importance reading even at a young age. I am honored to have just been named the Service Excellence Patient Care Volunteer of the Year for 2023. I volunteer every Thursday, and it is the highlight of my week.
