About Mitzi

Mitzi Fountain Eves, Broker, was born and raised in Mexia, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Family & Consumer Science from Baylor University, Waco, Texas before moving to Dallas. While living and working in Dallas, Mitzi built a successful career in retail sales and management with Lord & Taylor and Neiman Marcus. It was during her years with Neiman Marcus, Mitzi developed a great working and personal relationship with members of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia. The Family eventually employed Mitzi into a full-time unique and prestigious role as Property Estate Manager and Caretaker for their State side home in the neighborhood of Preston Hollow. In this position, she managed the family’s personal appointments, staff, accounts, personal shopping and properties. Mitzi also traveled extensively with family members assisting them in the States as well as Europe. In 2000, Mitzi earned her Texas Real Estate license and began working part-time with Coldwell Banker Preston Center while continuing her full-time responsibilities with the Royal Family. After relocating to Celina, Texas, in 2006, she joined the boutique real estate office of Herrin Real Estate LLC full-time and also simultaneously served as the full-time Director of the Celina Chamber of Commerce. Mitzi and her family returned to her hometown of Mexia in 2010, where she taught Family & Consumer Science at Mexia ISD for 5 years. But her passion for real estate ultimately led to her purchase of Heritage Real Estate LLC in 2015—a brokerage originally founded by a childhood friend. Under her leadership, it grew steadily into a current team of seven licensed Realtors. The Heritage Real Estate team was honored by the readers of The Mexia News as Best Real Estate Company and with Mitzi being honored as Best Real Estate Agent for five consecutive years (2020–2024). With over 40 years of combined experience, the team serves clients across Limestone, Freestone, Leon, Robertson, Navarro, McLennan, and surrounding counties, specializing in residential homes and lots, lake properties, Ag land & Ranches as well as commercial and investment properties. In July 2025, Mitzi brought her team—now known as the Heritage Real Estate Group—to Coldwell Banker Realty to expand their services and reach while continuing to provide the same trusted, client-focused service. Mitzi and her children, Oliver and Olivia, are active members of the community.
