About Teresa

Teresa is a lifelong resident of Bedford County and a proud graduate of the Community School of Unionville, where she attended K–12 and graduated in 1994. She brings nearly three decades of experience to the real estate industry, having worked as a Real Estate Assistant for many years and holding her real estate license for the past 12 years. With her extensive knowledge and hands-on experience, Teresa truly enjoys working with clients at every stage of their real estate journey. Family is at the heart of everything Teresa does. As she often says, “Family comes first.” She and her husband, Jody, have been happily married for 32 years and are the proud parents of three sons. Tyler; Austin, who is married to Brooke and has a daughter, Aubriella; and Seth, who is married to Hailey and has three sons—Karsyn, Sawyer, and Sutton. Raised on a farm, Teresa has always had a deep love for animals. From bottle-feeding baby calves as a young girl to caring for her own “fur babies” today—three dogs and a cat—animals have always been part of her life. She is also a proud sponsor of New Destiny Dog Rescue in Shelbyville and encourages friends and family to support this wonderful organization through volunteering or donations. Teresa looks forward to building lasting relationships with her clients, often saying that her clients become good friends and feel like family.
