About Arlisa

With over three decades of experience in rural development and community growth, Arlisa Armstrong brings unmatched expertise and heartfelt dedication to her role as a real estate professional. A proud native of Haywood County, Tennessee, Arlisa has dedicated her career to helping individuals, families, and businesses thrive throughout Tennessee’s rural communities. Before transitioning into real estate, Arlisa served as the State Director for USDA Rural Development, capping off a distinguished 32-year career in January 2025. Her leadership included more than a decade as Area Director for West Tennessee, where she oversaw strategic planning and resource allocation across a 12-county region. This work supported housing, commercial development, and community facilities through federal loan and grant programs—giving her a deep understanding of the financial and logistical aspects of property acquisition and development. Her experience spans residential, commercial, and nonprofit projects, providing her with a unique perspective on the diverse needs of buyers, sellers, and investors. Arlisa holds a degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Leadership Middle Tennessee Class of 2025, WestStar Class of 2014, Delta Regional Institute Leadership Class of 2011, and the Haywood County Leadership Class of 2006. Outside of her professional life, Arlisa is deeply family-oriented. She is a proud mother to a daughter and son-in-law and cherishes her role as grandmother to her grandson. She shares a close bond with her twin sister and older brother, and loves spending time with family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and creating meaningful experiences with loved ones. Now, as a licensed real estate agent, Arlisa combines her deep knowledge of housing and lending with her passion for community building. She is excited to begin this new chapter and looks forward to learning, growing, and collaborating with the Coldwell Banker Southern Realty Team.
