About Kathy

One of my favorite expressions has always been "grow where you are planted." As a California transplant to the Chattanooga, and later Cleveland, Tennessee area over thirty years ago, I now consider my self a fully vested, 100% Southerner (minus the love of sweet tea, but I’m still trying)! After receiving a B.A. in Psychology and Communications, I worked in retail sales management as well as commercial leasing, thoroughly enjoying meeting new people on a daily basis with both careers. My husband Cooper, a Cleveland native, and I have been raising our three children here in Bradley County for the past twenty-two years. Throwing myself into "all the things" while my kids were younger, room mom X’s three for years, PTO President and board member, Junior Auxiliary, Cleveland/Athens Cotillion, Habitat for Humanity, and the YMCA to name a few, have all enabled me a wonderful avenue for networking and building incredible relationships with folks in this community. I have a unique perspective of our school systems, both public and private as my children have attended both. Real Estate has always been an interest and hobby for me personally, whether buying/selling homes with my family or finding that perfect home to rent or flip.
