About Valisha

With nearly 28 years in real estate, Valisha (Lisa) Mueller brings extensive experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to agent success to her role as Responsible Broker of Coldwell Banker Black Hills Legacy. She began her career in Northern Colorado and continued in Rapid City in 2004. She later founded her own real estate company, which merged with Coldwell Banker Black Hills Legacy in 2009. In 2017, she became an owner of the company, and in 2023 she stepped into the role of Responsible Broker, continuing her focus on growth, professionalism, and effective leadership. Throughout her career, Lisa has served in numerous leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels. She is currently the President-Elect of South Dakota REALTORS, a Past President of the Black Hills Association of REALTORS, and serves on a committee for the National Association of REALTORS. She has also been recognized with several industry honors, including Greeley Area Realtor Association REALTOR of the Year in 2023, Black Hills Association of Realtors REALTOR of the Year in 2016 and 2023, and South Dakota REALTOR of the Year in 2016. Early in her career, Lisa was recognized in the REALTOR Magazine as a "30" Under "30" featuring rising stars in the real estate industry demonstrating leadership and success. Within the company, Lisa is known for her hands-on leadership approach. She leads coaching sessions, mastermind groups, tools and marketing training, while also overseeing daily operations. Her philosophy is to lead by example and focus on developing knowledgeable, confident, and successful agents. Professionalism, integrity, and active involvement in the community and industry associations are central to Lisa's approach. She believes successful real estate careers are built not only on skill and results, but also on service, collaboration, and a positive impact within the community.
