About Michael

I was born at the MUSC Downtown Charleston. I’m grateful that my childhood was spent growing up in the Lowcountry. Until I was about 10 we lived either on James Island or John’s Island. I loved those years I spent crabbing with my Papa on the Islands, going on beach trips with my Aunts, and helping my Mother at ‘Uncle’ Willy’s seafood shop on Folly. During my preteen years we lived in Moncks Corner, where I helped my Father build our home. I fell in love with being a part of nature, going fishing, hunting, camping, riding the 3-wheeler and 4-wheelers. By the time I started High School we moved to the historic district of Summerville. Currently I live in Summerville with my Wife and three daughters; this year they will be 6, 9, and 12. My Wife and I are owners of our start-up cleaning business, Quality Cleaning SC LLC. My father and I are owners of Nice Ice, a shaved ice truck. My Daughters, Nieces and Nephews help us work the shaved ice truck. In my spare time I play and stream video games with my Nephew. Recently, I built a home foundry, started melting and casting non-ferrous metals.
