There’s no “selling” in my process — at least not the way I see it. I guess you could say I have an old soul’s outlook on real estate. I was lucky enough to grow up around what I consider the GOATs of the business — my parents. Watching how they treated people, navigated challenges, and built lasting relationships taught me that success in real estate isn’t about the deal itself — it’s about the people behind it. It’s not just about the numbers in a contract; it’s about making sure every term and every step of the process truly serves the person who’s placed their trust in us. To me, being true to the deal means being true to what best serves our client. That perspective shapes everything I do. I have immense respect for my fellow agents and the professionals who make our market work. Collaboration, not competition, is where the real advantage lies. I’ve been intentional about cultivating those relationships — because when you earn the trust of your peers, you become an insider, and that benefits every client you serve. I also believe marketing should tell our clients’ stories — not ours. Sure, we use every modern tool available — video, drone photography, social media, digital campaigns — but my mom and I aren’t the stars of our own real estate reality show. Every step of our process is designed to serve the client, not our egos. And while I know the saying “there’s no I in team” has been overused a thousand times — it still sums up exactly how we work. Every person on our team has a defined role, and each role matters. We all have our hands on every transaction, and the success we deliver is shared success. Plus, we don’t need to hit the transfer portal to bring in talent — we’re completely homegrown. Beyond residential real estate, I also manage and sell commercial and investment properties, which gives me a broader perspective on helping clients build generational wealth. Real estate is one of the best investments you can make — but it’s not just about gross rental income. It’s about smart decisions, strategic improvements, and maintenance that protects long-term value. Equity and appreciation don’t happen by accident — they’re built through care and planning. I recently remodeled my first home here in Pawleys Island, where I live with my Silver Lab, Winston. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me outdoors — wakeboarding on the Waccamaw River, playing golf as a member at The Reserve, or heading to the mountains for a snowboarding getaway. Big Sky and Breckenridge are a couple of my favorite spots when I need a change of scenery. I also take my Fantasy Football League way too seriously, and like the rest of my family, I’ll be cheering on the Gamecocks even when there’s not much to cheer for. Luckily, as a Coastal Carolina alum, I’ve always got the Chants to fall back on when the garnet and black let me down. For me, this career is about carrying forward a legacy — one built on loyalty, honesty, and a genuine desire to help people find the right place to write their next chapter.
