About Matthew

Matthew was born in London, England and moved to the states when he was four and to Charleston when he was 14. His unique past and upbringing have given him the ability to enjoy both the big city, and beach life. After graduating from the College of Charleston with a History and Classics double major, Matthew pursued a career in advertising/ marketing and new media while running his own rental and investment property business. He has experience with investment properties, rentals, mixed-use buyers, first time home buyers, re-locations and second homes throughout the Charleston and surrounding islands. In 2011 Matthew decided to make a career change and knew that with his degree in history and his knowledge of the area, real estate was the perfect path for his future. He now resides in Harleston Village in the heart of Charleston and enjoys all it has to offer. He is very active in the community and a member of many clubs and societies.
