As a lifelong resident of South Carolina, I have seen the evolution of the Columbia Metropolitan area. Changes throughout Richland, Lexington, Fairfield, Newberry, Saluda, Kershaw and Calhoun counties have significantly changed the Midland's landscape; yet it continues to be a wonderful place to live, raise a family, and vacation. South Carolina has so many smiling faces and beautiful places! As a graduate of USC with a major in Accounting, I understand numbers and financial management. I worked as an accountant and auditor for over twenty years. I became the 'stay-at-home parent' to four children to support my husband's civilian career in biotech sales and military career as a helicopter pilot in the SC National Guard. Eleven years later, I returned to work in accounting and found myself wanting a more service-oriented and dynamic role. I launched my career in real estate approximately 10 years ago because real estate has always interested me, and the call to work as an agent was exciting.
